Isoko Federal Lawmaker, Ukodhiko Salutes Youths on International Youth Day 2025
The Member representing Isoko North and South Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Engr. Pastor Ukodhiko Jonathan Ajirioghene, has joined the global community in celebrating the 2025 International Youth Day, applauding the energy, creativity, and contributions of youths in his constituency towards building a better society.
In a goodwill message on Monday, Ukodhiko described the youths of Isoko Nation as “vibrant, dynamic, and innovative,” noting that their creativity, passion, and resilience are instrumental in driving progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which form the theme of this year’s celebration.
He emphasized that young people play a vital role in localizing sustainable development, promoting innovation and entrepreneurship, and fostering community engagement.
“As your representative at the National Assembly, I am proud to acknowledge the crucial role our youths play in achieving the SDGs in our local communities. Your efforts in driving positive change and creating lasting impact are truly commendable,” Ukodhiko said.
The lawmaker reiterated his commitment to supporting initiatives that empower youths, amplify their voices, and harness their full potential. He called for continued collaboration in providing opportunities for growth, development, and leadership.
“Let this year’s celebration inspire us to keep making a difference in our communities,” he added.
The International Youth Day is observed annually on August 12 to recognize the contributions of young people to societal development and to encourage policies that promote their empowerment.
